The unit is also recommended for removing odors and germs, as well as dust mites and common household allergens, such as pet dander.

JIFFY 4000I-1330 Design

Model J4000I-1330 comes with interchangeable steam heads: 6 inch metal head, 9 inch curved aluminum head, 12 inch metal steam head brush along with a 7.5 drapery hose attachment. The assembled unit measures 20 inches by 11 inches by 75 inches.
The unit is made of aluminum which is very well-suited for commercial steaming, resists rust and offers lasting benefits for the user. Consumers who purchase this model can expect to enjoy using this steamer for a long time, without ever needing maintenance or repairs.

The JIFFY 4000I-1330 has a gauge on the side with a clear view, which allows the user to check for sediment build-up. To save time and money on sediment cleaning, use distilled water, especially if there’s hard water in the home.

The steamer requires 1500 watts/120 Volts of power and it takes an internal corrosion resistant, stainless steel boiler tank 15 minutes to pre-heat the water and once heated, then an additional 5 minutes to reach full steam. The large 1 gallon (3.79L) reservoir holds enough water for 2 hours of continuous steam time. A red indicator light comes on when the unit is ready to use and there’s a fusible link with an automatic shut off feature.

JIFFY 4000I-1330 Performance

The JIFFY 4000I-1330 is an amazing steamer that blasts wrinkles out of anything we threw at it.  With the included attachments we could press perfect pleats (which is the first steamer to be able to do so in our opinion) and make beautiful creases too. The Jiffy operates in a nice and quiet manner with no spitting, hissing or sputtering sounds while the steam is heating up or in use.  The capabilities of the JIFFY 4000I-1330 are unmatched by any other clothing steamer and we not tested a steamer that can match the JIFFY’s performance, however there are a few cons the home user should consider before purchasing it.

The biggest con to the Jiffy 4000I-1330 is that it doesn’t have an adjustable screen or pull-down press area. For a stand-up steamer, this is a very beneficial feature to getting the best results.  While you can hang a regular hangar over the door, it’s difficult to find a good angle to steam clothing and it requires patience while steaming because it takes a long time to maneuver clothing, along with arm strength, dexterity and flexibility. We would recommend the Jiffy steam board because this makes it a lot easier to remove wrinkles. Over time, using the JIFFY 4000I-1330 on a regular door will cause damage to the wood because of the high heat and moisture.  The steam board includes a garment hanger and two clips and it has a moisture and mold resistant backing. While the steam board can be temporarily mounted with an over the door bracket, it is heavy and inconvenient to repeatedly take it down and put it back up to steam, so we recommend permanently mounting it. The steam board does include hardware, however drill mounting is necessary and there aren’t any pre-drilled holes, so if you are considering this option make sure you have adequate space and structure to mount it.  Expect to pay around $80 for the board.

Another con that is worth mentioning is that it takes 15 minutes to heat up.  For the commercial steamer that will be using this unit all day, it isn’t a concern but for the home user it’s not the most convenient.

In conclusion of the JIFFY 4000I-1330 Review, if you need the best for steaming your clothes it’s well worth the expense.

Perhaps what makes the Jiffy J-2000I so unique is that it’s a great product hiding superior steaming properties within a very plain looking exterior. The unattractive appearance of this steamer is the first thing we noticed, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts and this steamer is extremely well made and is built to perform.

There aren’t any complicated elements of the Jiffy J-2000I; it’s a very simple, straightforward design and takes only minutes to assemble.

Jiffy J-2000I Performance

The J-2000I melts away wrinkles and leaves your clothes looking spick and span within a very short time frame, with its powerful 1300 watt steam power.

The jiffy steamer is not made of plastic material which has the feeling of a steamer that will last a very long time.  Unlike almost every other steamer on the market, the Jiffy has a metal steamer head that will last much longer than the plastic ones.   Another notable feature is the hose is very flexible and allows for generous movement to accommodate steaming clothing from all angles. In addition to being an excellent steamer, the Jiffy can be used to refresh clothing, bedding, and carpets

Even though the pole for hanging clothes while steaming is collapsible to enable easier storage, the jiffy is still a large enough steamer that needs a sizable storage facility after use. This is a quite minor problem but one worth noting anyway.

The hose is 5 ½ foot long, is very flexible, has four steam heads that can be interchanged, as well as1300 watts of steaming power.   Our J-2000I was able to heat up in 56 seconds and provided 1 hour and 48 minutes of steam time with a reservoir that holds 96 ounces of water.

The price of the jiffy j-2000I is higher than most of its competitors from companies such as Rowenta, but it is definitely worth it.

The Jiffy J-2000I Multi-Purpose Steamer is a superb choice for the customer who wants a powerful, reliable, durable and easy to use and store clothes steamer.
